We will drive on to see the Pyramids, the Sphinx, and the Hanging Church (Al Muallaqa) in Old Cairo. First we will explore the enchanting sites around the Sea of Galilee, beginning with a visit to Capernaum. We immerse ourselves in the historical ambiance of Peter’s House and the renowned Synagogue. Later we ascend to the Mt. of the Beatitudes to relish in the panoramic view where the profound “Sermon on the Mount” was delivered (Matthew 5-7). We continue to Tabgha, where a reconstructed church stands witness to the miraculous multiplication of The Bread and The Fish by Jesus.
After lunch we board a boat for a scenic sail on the tranquil waters of the Sea of Galilee and we will visit the Baptismal Site along the Holy River Jordan, a significant pilgrimage destination. Enriched with such unforgettable memories we depart home.
